Our venue is about 30 minutes south of the city. Shuttle busses for the wedding day will depart from Sofitel Marrakesh at 15:00H.
Pro Tip for the Big Day: To reach our pick-up and drop-off points from the heart of the medina, you will take a short walk through the pedestrian areas to one of the gates. Feel free to wear your most glamorous footwear, but keep the brief walk in mind: some guests may prefer a block heel or a quick change of shoes for this part of the journey.
We can't wait to celebrate with you! For those flying in, we recommend arriving at Marrakesh Menara Airport (RAK), which is conveniently located close to the heart of the city.
🛂 Don't forget that Morocco is not in Europe. You will need a passport that is valid for at least 6 months.
đźš• Taking a Taxi
Once you land, the easiest way to reach your accommodation is by taking a taxi from the official rank located just outside the arrivals hall.
Travel Time: Approximately 15 minutes to the city center. Estimated Cost: €10 – €15.
Staying in or just around the Medina is highly recommended to enjoy the full local experience. It's the perfect home base for exploring the souks and immersing yourself in the city's vibrant atmosphere
🚶‍♀️ A Note on the Medina
Please keep in mind that the heart of the Medina is a car-free zone. Taxis will drop you at the nearest gate, leaving a short, scenic stroll to your Riad. For a more direct arrival, there are also wonderful stays located just outside the Medina walls that offer doorstep access.
Having you with us on our special day is what matters most to us. If you wish to honor us with a gift, a contribution towards our future would be a wonderful way to help us start our life as one.
